Jan 01, 2012 - Happy new Year!!! Have changed the name of the website from Sacrey Weather to Saline Weather to better reflect the area that I live/serve.

Dec 31, 2011 - A total of 26 people were killed by lightning and 550 people were killed by tornadoes in 2011. We sincerely hope 2012 will be better in terms of weather related deaths.

Nov 18, 2011 - Added 2 tornadoes and 5 fatalities to the 2011 Tornado page for a total of 552 people killed so far this year. In addition, 1 direct fatality was removed from the Joplin listing for a total of 158.

May 01, 2011 - Lost my rain gauge last night/this morning. Hasn't registered any rain at all and we've had over 2.50" so far. Don't know if it is clogged or flat out gave up the ghost. Will look into when it quits raining and dries out some. Manually inputting rain for now.
